Andrew Ngin is a UCLA Alumni, Senior Wealth Manager with his own practice, and an active Philanthropist. Andrew has served as Co-Founding Board Member and Treasurer of Building Education. Their mission is to end the cycle of poverty through the empowerment of education.
In 2024, he joined the The Karuna Project as an Advisory Board Member to continue his impact journey in giving back to the youth locally and globally.
Jacque Trujillo

Jacque, a devoted mother and passionate jiu-jitsu practitioner, serves as the secretary for the Karuna Project, where she channels her love for martial arts into empowering underprivileged children. Through her role, she ensures resources are allocated efficiently, enabling these children to access transformative combat sports training and innovative fitness activities. Jacque's dedication to both her family and her community shines through her commitment to fostering resilience and self-empowerment in those she serves.
HARry Cheung

Harry has been in the technology and marketing field for over a decade and brings his expertise to the team here at The Karuna Project. With his experience in technology consulting, he will assist us on technology projects as well as content development. Being involved in a number of NGOs and non-profits in the past, he is excited to start contributing to The Karuna Project to help make a difference.

Arun & Vasudha Ravi have constantly been driven to do their best in creating sustainable futures for children in need. They bring their corporate and startup experience to help drive the Karuna project to a sustainable model of giving and change. They are inspired by the Malala Yosufzai quote "Let us remember: One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher, can change the world."

Quan Khuu is an entrepreneur residing in San Francisco. He is currently the Co Founder of Poki Time and Tuna Kahuna, as well as being a partner of Simgad Solar.
Quan brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for social impact to the Karuna Project as a dedicated member of the board of directors. Also currently serving as a Membership Chair of the San Francisco Unified Lions Club and a past board member of various immigrants and Tenderloin causes, Quan offers invaluable insights and strategic guidance to help steer our organization towards achieving its mission.
